CuttingTo reduce the risk of serious or fatal injuries to the operatoror bystanders, keep hands, feet and other parts of the bodyaway from the saw chain, @ 6.5.2. Do not touch the sawchain while the battery is inserted into the garden pruner.Never touch the rotating saw chain with your hand or anypart of your body.
After Finishing Work
Preparing for Transportation or StorageTo reduce the risk of personal injury from unintendedactivation or unauthorized use, switch off the garden prunerand remove the battery before transporting the gardenpruner or putting it down. To reduce the risk of injuries fromthe sharp cutters on the chain, always cover the guide barwith the chain scabbard before transporting or storing thegarden pruner.
Transporting the Garden Pruner, Battery and Charger
Garden PrunerSlide a chain scabbard over the guide bar so that it coversthe entire guide bar.
When transporting the garden pruner by hand, hold it bythe control handle with the guide bar pointing down andyour finger off the trigger switch.
When transporting the garden pruner in a vehicle, coverthe guide bar with a chain scabbard and insert the gardenpruner securely in the carrying bag (if available). Secureand position the garden pruner to prevent turnover, impactand damage.
Storing the Garden Pruner, Battery and Charger
Garden PrunerStore the garden pruner indoors in a dry, secure place thatcannot be accessed by children or other unauthorized users,@ 6.4. Never store the battery in the garden pruner orcharger. Improper storage can result in unauthorized useand damage to the garden pruner.
