The STIHL MS 462 R C-M chainsaw features an excellent power-to-weight ratio, the next generation STIHL M-Tronic' engine management system and a wrap handle that allows for more control when using long guide bars. This is the lightest STIHL gasoline-powered saw in its class, weighing only 13.9 lbs. and has an anti-vibration system that helps reduce fatigue for the user when bucking and felling trees. This saw also features a slim sprocket cover that reduces weight and provides efficient chip discharge.

• The STIHL Inc. Caring for Nature” seal identifies its powered products that are more environmentally conscious, producing zero or low exhaust emissions. STIHL Inc. defines low exhaust emissions” as being cleaner than EPA and/or CARB exhaust emission standards.

• The Winter/Summer Shutter allows the carburetor to operate at optimum temperature year-round and helps to prevent carburetor icing when working below 50°F (10°C).
